As the rescue was veru busy some of the guinea pigs from our most recent rescue went to a friends sanctuary for re-homing as they were very busy with calls offering homes for guinea pigs in his area. The single boy and pair of brothers have now gone to new homes.

Katie the Rex has been paired with Choccy who had been waiting for the right new friend to come along for some time. They have settled in well together with a lovely family.
Lucifer one of our long stay residents had been very hard to match up with another boar due to his past as he has had lots of homes in his hort life and seems a rather insecure guinea even though he is huge. He has now gone to a very boar experienced lady and she will be keeping him for the rest of his days and will be finding him some guinea pig company.
Tom and Jerry went to their new home and settled in beautifully, (even if Tom decided to christen his new owners with his smell!) a wonderful family who will really enjoy and cherish these lovely boys.
Princess an agouti coronet that came in from the auction last month has gone to live with my friends sow and has settled down well.

This lovely trio of pink eyed golden guinea pigs went to their new home today. They are settling in well and are now called Treacle, Syrup and Cinnamon
Ginger and Mr Squeaky
These two boys came to us with their Mum and sister when they were 6 weeks old to be re-homed aand found their new home at 5 months old. Shortly after arriving Ginger developed a problem with the skin on his face that was diagnosed as an allergy, the most likely candidate being water melon so they stayed with us until we were sure this problem would not happen again. The have now found a lovely new home.

Chubs found a new friend called Weeb on 17/1/08
Weeb a lovely sow came to us to find a friend having sadly lost her cage mate. Weeb and Chubs got on really well, and Chubs went home with Weeb today.

Two young Boars now called Nutkin and Percy

These two boys have been re-homed to a luxurious indoor cage with lots of love and fuss from a very affection Mum.
They were not with us for long at all but were in good health and will benefit from the individual attention they will receive in their new home. They are the only guinea pigs there so will be spoilt rotten.
The Kiwi's
These lovely girls went to my best friend for fostering but she has now decided she would like to keep them. They have found a very loving home with a very special lady.

Sayuri, Pumpkin and one more of the golden girls
These three guineas went to an indoor home yesterday (12/12/07). Their new mummy is fantastic and will be giving them all the love care and fuss they deserve.

Tiny
Tiny has now gone to his new home as a friend for a 2 year old boar who had sadly lost his elderly companions. He has settled in brilliantly and thanks to Uncle Jumbos guidance on how to get on with other boy guinea pigs, the introduction to his new friend went well. He will have lots of room to run around in his new home which I am sure he will enjoy, and a great family to give him love and cuddles. Tiny had put on lots of weight and was able to go to his home before christmas, (we were waiting for him to reach a good weight and size before re-homing him). He went to his new home on 16/12/07.

The Buffs went to their forever home today (1/12/07) they have a huge indoor cage with lots of love and fuss. We will update on their progress soon, they jumped straight in and started exploring and eating hay so I am sure they will be very happy.
Update: These two are now called Jasmine and Amber, and are doing very well in their new home.

Gandalf and Freda have now gone to their new forever home and are currently settling in. They are going to be having lots of tlc from a lovely lady and we shall be following up on their progress soon.
Update: 1 week on Gandalf are settling into their new routine well :)
Update: 3 months on Gandalf had not been settling in as well as we had hoped and it was decided by myself and the lady who had adopted them that it was best they returned here, they now have a forever home with us.

'The Gingers' Mum 1 year and daughter 7 weeks old satin sows that came to us are now enjoying the life of luxury with a friend of mine who just adores her guineas. As satin coated guinea pigs can be prone to osteodystrophy these animals require special homes that understand and are aware of the condition. They are really enjoying the huge outdoor run she has.
Tinsel (1 year) and Billie (15 weeks) came to us from a breeder who was reducing their stud of their particular type of guinea pig. Tinsel had been bred from twice and had a difficult time with her second litter. After recovering from some hair loss she came on a journey to us, where we had found a home for her and her lovely daughter Billie with a local family. Mother and daughter will now be spending the rest of their lives together with this caring new family.
Huckleberry, Shima and Millie also came with them and will be staying with us.
